Packrift packaging tools privacy notice

This notice covers the Packrift MCP endpoints at https://mcp.packrift.com/mcp and https://mcp.packrift.com/chatgpt/mcp, the Packrift ChatGPT and Claude plugins, and the Packrift web packaging finder. Orders placed on packrift.com are covered by the Packrift privacy policy.

What the server receives

Only the arguments sent through your assistant or the web packaging finder: search text, item dimensions and weights, SKUs and quantities, and a ZIP code (and optional state) for shipping estimates. The server does not receive your conversation, your files or your account details, and it never asks for payment information.

What we keep

Usage records for up to 90 days: the tool used, the time, search text, the SKUs returned, the type of assistant app (for example Claude or ChatGPT), whether the plugin guide or web finder was opened, and whether a checkout link was opened. Page requests, tool calls, checkout visits, quote submissions and purchases are measured separately. Search text is scrubbed of anything that looks like an email address or phone number. We do not store names, email addresses, phone numbers, street addresses or IP addresses from MCP requests. Our hosting provider may keep standard request logs for security.

How we use it

To answer requests, to measure and improve search and sizing results, and to understand which assistants send shoppers to packrift.com. We do not sell this information or share it with advertisers.

Your choices

Packrift's tools run when you ask your assistant for help with packaging or use controls in the web finder. Disconnecting the Packrift connector or uninstalling the plugin stops assistant requests; closing the web finder stops its interactive requests. To ask about or delete usage records, email support@packrift.com. The service is intended for adults and businesses.

Service providers

Cloudflare hosts the server. Shopify provides product, price, stock and shipping data and runs checkout on packrift.com.
